Welcome to UNYA!
As Metro Vancouver's only Native youth program-providing organization, we work to empower Native youth through our 21 programs including education & training, personal support, live-in programs and sports & recreation. Our programs range in age from 13-29, but each program has its own age range so please check our programs page for more info. Our work also includes community development, training, research, educational materials, and advocacy. Our main goal is to provide opportunities for Native youth that will help them reach their full potential and personal goals.

Bentwood Box Auction was a fantastic success!
Thank you to the Lattimer Gallery for developing the fundraiser, the 18 artists who generously shared their creativity, time, and skills, and to those who purchased a bentwood box, and many other items at the reception. The day resulted in over $21,000 being raised to support UNYA and our Native Youth Centre capital campaign. Your support is greatly appreciated! Missed out? Next year we hope to find a few generous donors who will match all or part of the funds raised through this great initiative.
Announcing the release of BALANCE - A Parenting Booklet for Native Youth
This 48-page booklet focuses on Belonging, Activity, Learning, Acknowledgment, Nurturing, Compassion, and Engagement as very important building blocks for a good foundation for anyone to be the best parent they can be to thier child. Native youth can drop by our office to pick up a free copy or you can download it here.
